The assurance that brutal sportiness does not end with appearance is provided with a plug-in hybrid four-wheel drive train that consists of a 1.6 THP 200 kW four-cylinder petrol engine and two 85 kW electric motors at the front and rear axle. Together they develop an impressive 374 kW of power and 730 Nm of torque, helping the 308 R Hybrid reach 100 kilometres per hour in 4 seconds and race at an electronically limited top speed of 250 kilometres per hour. All the while emitting only 70 grams of carbon dioxide per kilometre. At lower speeds it is of course capable of electric-only driving as well.
